Looking for information on how to install your car stereo?
Here is a general guide.
1> Uninstallation/modification
If you're installing a new car stereo you will probably need to remove your existing deck. Or, in some cases, you may need a special harness to wire up a second deck.
Some cars you cannot remove the factory deck because the deck and the heating controls may be all one piece. This is especially prevalent in Fords. If your heating controls and deck are all one big circuit board we recommend you DO NOT remove your factory parts.
Will post part 2 shortly.

After you've removed your factory deck its time to install your aftermarket stereo. The easiest way to do this is using your existing wiring harness - so DO NOT CUT your harnesses.
Most of the time you can just take your existing harness and plug it into your new car stereo.

If you're hooking up subwoofers you'll need to run the preouts to your amp. The preouts from your sub go into the back of your deck - either left or right subwoofer output.
