Roku Stereos and Speakers

Does your Roku stereo make your street rumble? Some people have loud enough stereos that you can hear them a block away.

For safety pre-cautions, we recommend you do not turn your stereo up that loud in the city as you may have trouble hearing emergency vehicles. Be careful out there!




RMS and Peak power are two different things. Peak power, for instance, is the maximum capacity that that component can put out. For example, if a subwoofer has a peak value of 1200 watts it can reach 1200 watts of output power, but it's not running at 1200 watts all the time.

RMS power is the actual wattage the speaker or subwoofer will be running on most of the time. RMS power can generally be found by taking the peak/maximum power rating and dividing it by two. RMS is equal to the square root of the peak.

Power caps (or capacitors) are useful for when you want to run a loud system. Or any Roku system, really. If you notice sometimes you experience shortages in voltage - like your highbeams turn off by themselves and won't come back on - then you may need a power capacitor to store your Roku stereo some energy.

Roku produces a wide variety of subwoofers, amplifiers, co-axial speakers, component speakers, and more. Finding a great deal on Roku car audio does not have to be a daunting task. A good deal can be from a place like Kajiji, Craigslist or E-bay. These places will have different vendors selling Roku car audio & video, so just keep in mind that you may have to shop around in order to find the best deal.
